Mila Seidl speaks on grieving the death of Lito Sousa

Mila Seidl, widow of aviation specialist and influencer Lito Sousa, has shared updates regarding her grieving process following his death at age 59. Sousa passed away after battling Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, a rare neurodegenerative pathology.

During a recent YouTube event, Seidl was honored alongside her late husband, an occasion that proved emotionally difficult as she faced tributes from fellow content creators alone. She expressed on social media that while the loss remains a heavy shadow, the respect shown to Sousa by the community provides some comfort.

Seidl noted that she is currently prioritizing her well-being and her son, opting to decline interviews and public appearances for the time being. She also mentioned the difficulty of living in their family home amidst constant memories and stated she is not yet ready to record content for the YouTube channel ‘Aviões e Músicas’, which was established by Sousa.
