Milan probe links Serie A players to escort scandal

Italian prosecutors in Milan are investigating an alleged prostitution and escort ring run by the event‑organising agency MaDe Luxury Concierge, owned by Emanuele Buttini and Deborah Ronchi. The couple have denied any wrongdoing, calling the allegations "defamatory" and saying the girls involved have been unfairly labelled.

Several Serie A footballers have been questioned. Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is the only player named in the register of suspects, accused of illicit contact with a 17‑year‑old girl; he has not appeared before the magistrates and is being represented by a lawyer. Other players, including Daniel Maldini, Kevin Bonifazi and Riccardo Calafiori, have testified that they never paid for sexual services and that the encounters were consensual. Authorities are analysing seized mobile phones and chat records from the arrested individuals and the agency to determine the extent of the alleged network.

The investigation continues with prosecutors planning further steps based on the evidence collected from the chats and other digital material.
