Milan showcases two major contemporary art exhibitions

The Fondazione Emilio Scanavino, in partnership with the Alik Cavaliere Art Center and Prometeogallery, has reopened Alik Cavaliere and Emilio Scanavino’s 1971 work *Omaggio all’America Latina* as part of Milan Art Week 2026. The exhibition features a new performance video, *Homage to Latin America – Veiling*, created by Guatemalan artist Regina José Galindo and shown from 14 April to 14 June, highlighting themes of migration, inequality and political violence.

Casa degli Artisti in Milan has launched the *Kaleidoskop* project, an international exchange with Germany’s Kulturwerk T66. The inaugural show presents installations by eight invited artists, exploring memory, landscape, material culture and perception through diverse media. The program will continue with a second phase in Germany later in the year, emphasizing mobility and collaborative practice among European artists.
