Milan: Tourist robbed of 50,000 euro watch near Duomo

An Israeli tourist was robbed of a luxury watch worth approximately 50,000 euros in central Milan on Thursday, August 13. The incident occurred near Via Silvio Pellico, close to the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele.

The victim, described in reports as being between 58 and 68 years old, was walking toward a taxi to head to Malpensa Airport when two young men with North African features approached him. Following a brief struggle, the suspects snatched the Rolex Daytona from his wrist and fled in different directions on foot.

Although the victim experienced shock and a physical confrontation, no injuries were reported. Local police are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the area to identify the suspects and reconstruct their escape route.
