AC Milan stalls Pervis Estupiñán transfer to Aston Villa

AC Milan's negotiations to sell left‑back Pervis Estupiñán to English club Aston Villa have been placed on hold. New Milan manager Rubén Amorim has asked the board to evaluate the Ecuadorian defender before giving final approval for the move. Reports say Villa have a five‑year personal contract offer for the player at €3 million net per season, but the clubs have not yet signed a final agreement.

Milan initially sought €20 million, while Villa proposed €13 million, with a possible range of €15‑18 million being discussed. Amorim's request for additional assessment has frozen the paperwork, leaving the transfer in a “stand‑by” state and leaving both clubs uncertain about the final outcome.
