Milan wellness‑center prostitution ring leads to seven arrests

Police investigations in Milan and Como uncovered a criminal network that used fake non‑profit organisations and wellness‑centre fronts to exploit foreign women as prostitutes. The scheme involved Italian and Moroccan operators who hired the women under false employment contracts, arranged sexual services for cash payments of €40‑€150 per session, and funneled the proceeds through the women’s own bags and store‑room drawers.

Seven suspects – four men and three women – were detained on charges of organised crime, exploitation, facilitation of prostitution and money‑laundering. Among the arrested were alleged ringleaders Lorenzo P., 57, and his partner Boutaina K., 34, who allegedly coordinated the cash collection and distribution. The investigation, led by Milan prosecutor Bruna Albertini and coordinated with the financial police, resulted in the seizure of €350,000 and five properties deemed the “systematic centre” of the operation.

The raids, carried out on 28 July by the judicial police, the Guardia di Finanza and local police units, also revealed the use of online advertisements on sites such as Annunci Massaggi Osè, Bakeka and Tantralux to attract clients. The case highlights a broader pattern of human‑trafficking‑linked prostitution operating under the guise of wellness services in northern Italy.
