Mild autumn weather forecast for Netherlands and Belgium
A period of mild autumn weather is expected across parts of the Netherlands and Belgium, followed by a transition to cooler conditions toward the weekend.
In the Netherlands, temperatures are expected to reach between 17 and 18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday due to air flowing from France. However, a disturbance arriving from England on Thursday will increase cloud cover and wind strength. By Friday, a transition to cooler air will bring rain or showers, with winds shifting to the north over the weekend.
In Belgium, meteorologist Bram Verbruggen predicts a very mild autumn day on Thursday, with temperatures potentially reaching up to 20 degrees Celsius and plenty of sunshine. Friday is described as a transition day where temperatures will remain relatively warm at around 18 degrees, but weather patterns will begin to shift toward the weekend, bringing a chance of showers.
