Mili Bajramović sentenced to 40 years in Montenegro for murder of Šćepan Roganović

The Higher Court in Podgorica sentenced Mili Bajramović to a total of 40 years in prison for the premeditated killing of Šćepan Roganović and for his role in an organized criminal group. The judgment noted that nine shots were fired at Roganović, six of which hit him. Several co‑defendants received sentences ranging from four to eight years for membership in the same criminal organization, while one accomplice was sentenced to six years for illegal weapons possession.

Bajramović, who had been a fugitive since 2020, was arrested in Rimini, Italy, after an international search involving Interpol and Italian and Austrian police. The court also mentioned that Krsto Vujić, identified as the organizer of the group, was later killed in Barcelona.

The sentencing marks a major step in Montenegro’s effort to dismantle the Škaljarski clan’s violent activities.
