Military leaders in Niger and Mali conduct strategic command engagements

In Niger, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Mamane Sani Kiaou, met with the Commission for the Organization, Preparation, and Monitoring of General Mobilization (COMOG) in Niamey. The meeting aimed to sensitize officers, non-commissioned officers, and rank-and-file soldiers regarding the implementation of general mobilization. General Kiaou emphasized that mobilization is not a mere administrative formality but a means to protect national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and population security.

In Mali, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Elisée Jean Dao, conducted an official visit to the Direction of the Army Commissariat (DCA). The visit, part of a series of inspections since his appointment in May, focused on sharing command vision and encouraging discipline and cohesion among support personnel. The DCA is responsible for providing food, clothing, and essential supplies to the Malian Armed Forces.
