MilkLife Soccer Challenge concludes Series 1 in Jakarta and Yogyakarta

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) Series 1 2026/2027 concluded in Jakarta Raya and Yogyakarta, showcasing significant talent in youth girls' football. The tournament, initiated by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife, aimed to build a sustainable ecosystem for female athletes in Indonesia.

In the Jakarta Raya series, SDN Gedong 03 secured the Under-10 (KU-10) title after a 3-0 victory over UPTD SDN Mampang 1. The Under-12 (KU-12) title was claimed by SDN Cipayung 02, who defeated SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 19 4-2 in a penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw. Gildas Syauqillah, a player for SDN Cipayung 02, was also named the top scorer for the Jakarta series.

In Yogyakarta, SD Tarakanita Bumijo I emerged as the new champion for the KU-10 category, defeating SD Muhammadiyah Sapen 3-1. SD Muhammadiyah Sapen successfully defended its title in the KU-12 category by defeating SDN Kalasan 1 with a 1-0 score.

Football experts, including Indonesia's women's national team coach Satoru Mochizuki and head coach Jacksen F. Tiago, noted the improving technical skills and teamwork among participants. They emphasized that consistent grassroots competitions are vital for long-term development and achieving future goals, such as qualifying for the 2035 World Cup.
