MilkLife Soccer Challenge youth tournament

The 2026–2027 MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) season began in early September 2026 with initial series held in Tangerang and Semarang. Organized by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife, the tournament focuses on grassroots development for young female athletes to support the Indonesian women's national team.

Following the opening series, the Yogyakarta Series took place in mid-September in Sleman, featuring 1,294 athletes from 76 schools and madrasahs. The program has expanded to cover 15 cities across Indonesia, including new locations such as North Jakarta, Garut, and Jayapura, as part of an effort to build a sustainable ecosystem for women's football.

Series 1 concluded in Jakarta Raya and Yogyakarta, highlighting key winners across age categories. In Jakarta Raya, SDN Gedong 03 won the Under-10 (KU-10) title, while SDN Cipayung 02 secured the Under-12 (KU-12) title following a penalty shootout. In Yogyakarta, SD Tarakanita Bumijo I claimed the KU-10 championship, and SD Muhammadiyah Sapen successfully defended its KU-12 title.

National team coaches, including Satoru Mochizuki and Jacksen F. Tiago, observed improving technical skills and teamwork among the participants. They noted that consistent grassroots competitions are vital for long-term development and achieving goals such as qualifying for the 2035 World Cup.
