Milorad Dodik defends unity of Serbia and Republika Srpska

Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, has emphasized the unbreakable unity between Serbia and Republika Srpska. He stated that political threats and provocations from Sarajevo cannot diminish the shared history and future of the Serbian people. Dodik highlighted that the recent visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to the region was a profound message regarding the roots and rights of the Serbian people, rather than a mere protocol event.

Concurrently, Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandar Goganić addressed recent statements made by Defense Minister Zukan Helez regarding sovereignty in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Goganić expressed his intention to stop responding to what he termed "primitive and inappropriate" remarks to avoid giving them undue significance. However, he warned that if such statements touch upon Republika Srpska or Serbia or insult the Serbian people, there will be serious political and institutional responses in accordance with the law and the Dayton Peace Agreement.
