Operation Amadeus: Three arrested for international drug and arms trafficking
In the “Amadeus” operation, police from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska arrested Milutin Mića Danilović, Vladimir Grubačić, and Aleksandar Nikolić. The suspects are accused of being part of an international criminal chain involved in the procurement and transport of drugs and weapons.
Investigators allege the group sourced narcotics, primarily marijuana, from Montenegro and Albania for distribution within Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union. The group is also suspected of illegal arms trafficking and laundering over 300,000 euros in cash.
Following their arrest, Danilović and Grubačić were ordered into one-month detention by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nikolić remains under house arrest. Danilović’s defense has supported the detention request, citing concerns for his personal safety and potential retaliation from rival criminal elements.
