Brazil prepares for holiday traffic with highway policing and maintenance
Brazil is preparing for increased traffic and heightened security measures during the Independence Day holiday period. In Rio de Janeiro, CET-Rio has announced scheduled maintenance closures for several tunnels and the Elevado das Bandeiras. Additionally, special traffic operations are in place for the Flamengo vs. Mirassol football match at the Maracanã Stadium, involving road closures in the surrounding area.
