Brazil Enem 2026 registration deadline set for June 17, fee R$85

The deadline for paying the R$85 registration fee for Brazil’s 2026 National High School Examination (Enem) is Wednesday, 17 June. Payment is made through the GRU (Guia de Recolhimento da União) on the Participant page of the Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep) using a Gov.br login. Acceptable methods include bank slips, Pix, credit or debit cards, and payments can be processed at banks, lottery houses or via banking apps.

Applicants who graduated from public high schools, participants in the Ministry of Education’s Pé‑de‑Meia program, students using Enem results to obtain a high‑school completion certificate, and those registered in the federal CadÚnico social program are exempt from the fee. The fee is non‑refundable except in case of exam cancellation or duplicate payments, and the registration is confirmed only after the Bank of Brazil processes the payment.

The exam will be held nationwide on 8 November and 15 November 2026. Enem scores are used for admission to Brazilian universities through programs such as Sisu, Prouni and Fies, and may also be accepted by partner institutions in Portugal.
