Minera Symphony Orchestra launches 2026 summer concerts at Mexico City cultural centre

The Minera Symphony Orchestra is opening its 2026 summer season at the Silvestre Revueltas Hall of the Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Center in Mexico City. Performances are scheduled for July 25‑26, conducted by associate conductor Raúl Aquiles Delgado and featuring guest soloist Jesús Castro‑Balbi. Program 4 includes Grażyna Bacewicz’s 1943 Overture, the world premiere of Ludsen Martinus’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.

On July 26, actor‑singer Mario Iván Martínez will present a specially arranged concert titled “Mi amiga, la orquesta: fábrica de sueños,” aimed at children. The show, performed with the Minera Symphony Orchestra, will feature 10‑year‑old co‑narrator David Salomón and emphasizes musical diversity and storytelling for young audiences.
