MINI unveils Oxford Edition limited model and next‑gen John Cooper Works range

To mark 25 years of modern MINI branding, the brand introduced the MINI Cooper Oxford Edition, a limited‑run three‑door model built at the historic Oxford plant. The version features a Union Jack‑styled roof, contrasting colour options (Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue, Blazing Blue) and bespoke trim inside and out, together with 18‑inch two‑tone wheels. It is offered as Cooper C and Cooper S and is accompanied by a lifestyle “Oxford Capsule” collection.

At the same time MINI announced the newest generation of John Cooper Works (JCW) models, adding two electric variants – a three‑door electric MINI JCW and the five‑door Aceman – alongside updated petrol versions. The electric models deliver up to 258 hp, 350 Nm of torque and a temporary 27 hp boost via paddle‑activated “Electric Boost”. Their range reaches roughly 370 km (JCW) and 355 km (Aceman) on a single charge. The petrol JCW line retains a twin‑power‑turbo four‑cylinder engine with 231 hp, 380 Nm and a 0‑100 km/h sprint in just over 6 seconds. Interior and exterior design cues emphasise the brand’s racing heritage, with red‑black detailing, a distinctive roof stripe and sport‑focused equipment.
