Mining companies secure funding for Western Australia projects

Two Australian mining companies, Future Metals and Medallion Metals, have secured significant capital to advance their projects in Western Australia.

Future Metals has received commitments for a $3.6 million placement to progress its Panton PGM project. The funds will support an updated scoping study comparing greenfield development against utilizing the Savannah processing infrastructure. Additionally, the company is allocating resources toward potential negotiations to acquire the Savannah plant from Zeta Resources and conducting environmental baseline studies.

Medallion Metals has secured A$60 million through a single tranche placement to fast-track gold and copper production. This capital, combined with existing reserves, provides the company with approximately A$175 million in liquidity. The funds are intended to support the ramp-up of the Ravensthorpe Gold Project, including toll treatment at Forrestania and accelerated drilling programs at the Kundip and Lounge Lizard targets.
