Mining & Minerals Hall to host record exhibitors in Seville
The sixth edition of the Mining & Minerals Hall (MMH) is set to take place from October 20 to 22 at the FIBES Convention and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Spain. Organized by the Spanish metallic mining association Aminer and promoted by the Junta de Andalucía, the event is expected to reach full capacity, occupying 100% of the available exhibition space across three pavilions.
The 2026 edition will feature 332 exhibitors, representing a 29% increase over the previous edition, and will cover 8,548 square meters of space. Participants from 25 to 26 countries are expected to attend. The event will showcase the entire mining value chain, including large mining and metallurgical companies, specialized engineering services, and technology providers.
Andalusia is highlighted as a strategic hub for the sector, currently hosting 479 active mines that generate approximately 8,000 direct jobs and over 1.2 billion euros in production. The region is the European Union's second-largest producer of primary copper and a global leader in strontium production, controlling 43% of the market. Officials noted that the region's subsoil contains indications of 22 of the 34 critical raw materials required by the EU.
