Minister Gerlien Croes faces scrutiny over private jet travel transparency

The commission ruled that objections regarding the use of a private jet were well-founded and advised the minister to re-evaluate her decision and provide documentation, including passenger lists, contracts, and proof of costs.

Minister Croes has declared the objections unfounded and has declined to provide full transparency, citing new regulations and claiming certain details fall under her personal life. MEP faction leader Evelyn Wever-Croes noted that while the minister answered one question fully and another partially, the majority of the seven inquiries remain unanswered. This refusal to provide accountability is being characterized by parliamentary members as a violation of principles of good governance and integrity.
