Nusron Wahid addresses KPK corruption probe in ATR/BPN ministry
Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid has addressed the ongoing corruption investigation by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) within his ministry. The investigation involves alleged bribery related to Building Use Rights (HGB) involving PT Summarecon Agung Tbk in Bogor, West Java.
The KPK has named eight suspects, including the Head of the Bogor Land Office, the President Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, and several individuals identified as close associates of Minister Nusron. During recent operations, the KPK seized approximately Rp106.3 billion in various currencies.
Nusron Wahid stated that he respects the legal process and will cooperate fully with the KPK. He emphasized that the ministry's public services, such as 10-day land title transfers and scheduled land measurements, will continue to operate normally and will not be disrupted by the investigation. He also expressed hope that the case would serve as a catalyst for improving internal transparency and service quality within the ministry.
