Ministry of Culture delivers MovCEU mobile centers to Rio Grande do Sul

Brazil's Minister of Culture, Margareth Menezes, has officially delivered three MovCEU units to the municipalities of Tramandaí, Rio Grande, and Bagé in Rio Grande do Sul.

The MovCEU is an itinerant cultural center part of the Ministry of Culture's Territórios da Cultura program, designed to decentralize access to cultural infrastructure. These mobile units are equipped to host various activities, including reading incentives, outdoor cinema, storytelling, artistic workshops, audiovisual production, and local culture initiatives.

The federal government aims to deliver 190 of these units across the country by the end of the year. During the ceremony in Tramandaí, Minister Menezes emphasized that the equipment provides opportunities for youth to engage with modern tools, such as podcasting capabilities, alongside traditional resources like libraries and cinema projectors.
