Ministry of Education launches teleclasses to reinforce learning

The Ministry of Education (MINED) is utilizing Canal 6, Canal 15, and its own digital platforms to host teleclasses designed to reinforce weekly educational content across various levels.

Omar Cortedano, director of Adult Education, outlined the curriculum for several modalities. Early childhood education will focus on sounds, rhymes, and songs, while special education will cover animal protection and prevention. Primary education will address language, literature, grammar, and mathematics, specifically the subtraction of fractions. Secondary education will focus on reading comprehension, mathematical equations using the theorem of Tales, and English language skills.

For young adults in secondary education, the curriculum includes English topics related to Central American culture and traditions, as well as physical and natural sciences focusing on the properties of matter. Additionally, educational community councils will address socio-emotional skills, including decision-making and negotiation.
