Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture visits Foz do Iguaçu

The Brazilian Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) is conducting a series of meetings in Foz do Iguaçu to strengthen the tilapia production chain and promote sustainable development in the region.

Minister Edipo Araujo is scheduled to meet with Ênio Verri, the Brazilian Director-General of Itaipu Binacional. The agenda also includes participation in the Tilapia Festival – IFC, a major event for the fish production sector. Additionally, a workshop titled ‘Sustainable Development of Tilapiculture in the Itaipu Reservoir’ will be held, featuring participation from the Paraguayan Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Rolando de Barros Barreto.
