Ministry of Hajj and Umrah opens 2027 health personnel selection

The Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially opened the selection process for Hajj Organizers (PPIH) health personnel for the 1448 H/2027 M season. Registration for medical staff begins on August 20, 2026, for assignments in Makkah, Madinah, and Saudi Arabian airports.

Available positions include specialist doctors, general practitioners, and nurses for flight groups (kloter). For sector and clinic services in Saudi Arabia, roles include pharmacists, electromedical technicians, laboratory experts, radiographers, sanitarians, and medical rehabilitation staff.

Applicants must meet specific age requirements: 25 to 57 years for flight group staff, and 27 to 55 years for sector and clinic staff. Candidates must have at least two years of work experience, valid Registration Certificates (STR), and valid Practice Licenses (SIP). Doctors and nurses are also required to hold emergency certification.

Director General Puji Raharjo emphasized that the selection process is designed to be transparent, free of gratification, and carries no costs. The recruitment aims to secure professionals with high integrity, physical readiness, and the ability to operate digital devices and communicate in Arabic or English.
