Ministry of Hajj and Umrah opens new office in Mimika
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) has officially opened a new regional office in Mimika, Central Papua. The facility aims to streamline services for pilgrims, including administration, guidance, spiritual preparation, and health readiness. Muhammad Hilal T., Head of the Mimika Kemenhaj office, stated that the office is a commitment to bringing government services closer to the community, noting that pilgrimage management involves much more than just processing passports and documents.
In a separate development, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Mochammad Irfan Yusuf, addressed pilgrims in Jombang regarding the concept of 'Tri Sukses Haji' (Triple Success of Hajj). He emphasized that the pilgrimage should result in improved character, stronger worship, and increased social care upon returning home. The Minister also urged future pilgrims to begin early preparations, specifically focusing on administrative completeness, mental readiness, and physical health to ensure 'istitha’ah' (capability) for the journey.
