Ministry of Hajj and Umrah opens recruitment and mutation selections
The Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) has announced two separate recruitment and transfer processes to strengthen its human resources for upcoming operations.
First, the Ministry has opened the second batch of civil servant (PNS) mutations. This program is available to civil servants from various ministries, agencies, and local governments. Applicants must be a maximum of 45 years old as of October 1, 2026, and possess a minimum performance rating of ‘Good’ for the last two years. Active proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic is a prioritized criterion. The selection process includes administrative checks and a Computer Assisted Competency Test (CACT) to measure managerial competencies such as integrity, communication, and public service.
Second, the Ministry is recruiting Hajj Organizers (PPIH) for the 1448H/2027M season. These roles include both flight group officers (PPIH Kloter) and Saudi-based officers (PPIH Arab Saudi) covering accommodation, consumption, transportation, and specialized services for the elderly and disabled. Age requirements for applicants vary between 25 and 60 years depending on the specific formation. The recruitment follows two tracks: Regional Selection (at the regency/city and provincial levels) and Central Selection.
