Ministry of Public Administration launches new training cycle
The Ministry of Public Administration has launched a new cycle of generic training for administrative employees for the year 2026. The program aims to improve the quality, speed, and accessibility of services provided to citizens through enhanced professional development.
Following sessions in the Skopje, Pollog, Eastern, and Pelagonia regions, the program is continuing in the southeastern region. To date, over 1,000 administrative employees have participated. The training focuses on three primary areas: mentoring, communication skills, and equality and non-discrimination.
Minister of Public Administration Goran Minchev stated that the public administration should be viewed as an investment in the state rather than an expense. This initiative is part of a broader reform for professional development, supported by the Law on Professional Training and Qualification. Additionally, an Academy for Professional Training and Qualification of Administrative Employees is expected to begin operations in 2027.
