Minneapolis shelter kittens visit Sea Life aquarium

Approximately twenty rescued kittens from the Bitty Kitty Brigade shelter participated in a two-hour excursion at the Sea Life aquarium located in the Mall of America near Minneapolis. The event, which is held annually, aims to socialize the animals and increase awareness for the shelter, which currently cares for about 1,000 kittens.

During the visit, the kittens explored a 90-meter underwater tunnel, observing sand sharks, rays, and clownfish. Organizers noted that the calm, blue environment of the aquarium helped some kittens relax, while others remained highly engaged with the marine life. The program is designed to help the kittens adapt more easily to new homes once they are adopted.
