Golf Coaches Association Announces 2025-26 Cobalt All-America Scholars
The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the 2025‑26 Cobalt Golf All‑America Scholar list. A total of 649 NCAA Division I student‑athletes from 210 schools earned the honor, which recognizes golfers who maintain a stroke average below 76.0, a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2, compete in at least half of their team’s rounds, and demonstrate high moral character.
Schools with the most scholars were the University of Delaware, East Carolina University and Lamar University, each with six honorees. Eighty‑one programs had at least four scholars, including Stanford (four, a program record), Auburn (four, tying its own record), and the University of Nebraska (four). The announcement also noted 209 Division II athletes from 77 institutions receiving the same award.
The award highlights the academic and athletic achievements of golfers across the country, with recipients ranging from freshmen to seniors and representing a variety of majors such as finance, engineering, and health education.
