Mint begins humanoid robot production in Šabac, Serbia

The company Mint has commenced the production of humanoid and quadruped robots at its facility in Šabac, Serbia. The manufacturing process involves a collaboration between Chinese experts and local Serbian engineers and workers.

The facility aims to establish a significant base for the European market, leveraging Serbia's industrial infrastructure and workforce. The factory has a planned annual capacity of 3,000 robots and intends to expand its workforce to over 200 employees.

The robots produced are general-purpose machines designed for industrial applications, with future plans to introduce them into households. The product line includes humanoid robots in two sizes: a larger model standing 173 centimeters tall and weighing 55 kilograms, and a smaller model standing 130 centimeters tall and weighing 35 kilograms. Additionally, the plant produces quadruped robots, commonly referred to as robot dogs.
