Mir Raza Ali exhumation resumes as Sindh reinstates original board

The Sindh government restored the original eight‑member medical board, clearing the way for the exhumation of businessman Mir Raza Ali to be carried out at 11 a.m. The board, convened by Police Surgeon Dr Summayya Syed, includes senior forensic and medical experts from Dow University, Jinnah Sindh Medical University and other institutions.

Mir Raza Ali, an IBA graduate who vanished on July 28 and was later found in the Gulistan‑e‑Jauhar area of Karachi, has been the subject of a court‑ordered investigation. His father and lawyer objected to a newly reconstituted five‑member board, arguing it lacked legal basis, and the restored board now proceeds with the exhumation under judicial oversight.
