Mirante do Alto launches winter festival with wine, music and cultural events in Goiás

The Mirante do Alto venue in Alto Paraíso de Goiás has become the focal point of the region's winter season, hosting a multi‑week festival that blends live music, high‑end gastronomy, wine tastings and traditional Brazilian celebrations.

From July 16 to 19 the site runs a Wine Festival featuring Afro‑House and Organic House sets by DJ Syrux, a jazz‑infused MPB performance by Flávio Marciano, pop‑jazz and soul by Jasmin Vilar & NaLua, and a Brazilian music showcase with Chrys Pereira.

A July 23‑26 “Festa Julina” adds forró, baião and folk‑rock performances, highlighted by Ray Titto & Los Fabulosos Calabares. The program concludes with a moonlit finale from July 30 to August 2 under a full moon. Organizer Rodrigo Barreto emphasizes the combination of natural scenery, sunsets and starry skies with the curated cultural lineup as a unique winter experience in the Chapada dos Veadeiros region.
