Miskolc hosts CineFest film festival and various cultural events

Miskolc is hosting a variety of cultural events, including outdoor cinema, musical performances, and a night run. On August 22, the Sohó area will feature free screenings, including the Hungarian romantic musical 'Hogyan tudnék élni nélküled?', accompanied by street music and local short films.

Musical and rock performances are also scheduled. The Akropolisz Outdoor Stage will host the Magyarock Dalszínház production 'Made in Hungária', a musical set in the early 1960s. Additionally, the punk-rock band Aurora will perform at the Vasgyár Community House garden, with local band Tisztakosz as the guest.

The 22nd CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival is presenting a documentary program featuring seven films. Highlights include a portrait of cinematographer Robert Richardson, a study of an unproduced 1932 screenplay regarding Hollywood and antisemitism, and documentaries exploring nature in the Vosges mountains and the deaths of environmentalists in Latin America.
