Miss Italia crowns regional titleholders in Molise and Basilicata

Federica Iacobucci, a 22‑year‑old from Montecilfone, was crowned Miss Sorriso Molise 2026 at a ceremony in Montecilfone, Molise. The event featured musical performances and a dance show, and judges praised her smile, spontaneity and ambition to become a doctor. Runner‑up was 18‑year‑old Giorgia Milanese, while the Miss Montecilfone title went to Dalia Valeria Barone.

In Basilicata, the first regional selection of Miss Italia took place on 25 July in Piazza Gramsci, Scanzano Jonico. Caterina Porsia, a 20‑year‑old chemistry student from Grottole, was named the winner, receiving the prize from Mayor Pasquale Cariello. The selection was overseen by local officials, sponsored by jewelry brand Miluna and the hair‑care company Framesi, and hosted by actor Christian Binetti with singer Elena Cappiello as guest.

Both events are part of the national Miss Italia competition, advancing the winners toward regional finals.
