Miss Vietnam 2026 pageant draws dozens of university titleholders

The Miss Vietnam 2026 competition has attracted hundreds of applicants, many of whom already hold university beauty titles. Contestants such as Trịnh Ngọc Huyền, a Business Management student at the University of Finance‑Marketing and former UFM Miss 2025, Vũ Minh Anh, a third‑year Banking major and former Finance‑University Miss, and several other university “Hoa khôi” highlight the emphasis on education and personal development.

Seven of the contestants come from Hai Phong, the host city, including Ngô Mai Phương (National Economics University, Hotel Management), Đinh Thị Quỳnh Hương (Vietnam Maritime University, Transport Economics), Đinh Ngọc Châu (National Economics University, Business Administration) and others aged 16‑23. Ngô Mai Phương said, “I register to step out of my comfort zone and inspire others.” The diverse group combines academic pursuits with talents in dance, music and community service, reflecting the pageant’s focus on holistic achievement.
