Missing Zapopan businessman Ricardo Cabezas Talavera remains unlocated

Ricardo Cabezas Talavera, a 45‑year‑old real‑estate entrepreneur, disappeared in the El Batán colonia of Zapopan, Jalisco, after leaving his home on 30 July 2026 to show a property. He was last seen around 17:30 on Aldama street, wearing a light‑blue T‑shirt, jeans and an Apple Watch, and driving a beige Fiat 500 that has not been recovered.

The Comisión Nacional de Búsqueda issued a National Alert four days later, and the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation. Family members reported his last message to them at 19:00 said he was “very busy,” and his phone’s final signal was recorded at about 21:00 on the same day. As of 4 August 2026, authorities have received no new information on his whereabouts or the missing vehicle, and the search continues with appeals for public assistance.
