Mitsubishi expands hybrid and PHEV vehicle presence in Trinidad and Tobago and the Philippines

Mitsubishi is expanding its electrified vehicle presence in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. In Trinidad and Tobago, ANSA Motors has launched the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Hybrid to meet rising consumer interest. Hybrid technology currently accounts for approximately 35% of new car purchases in the country, as drivers seek fuel efficiency and convenience without the need for dedicated charging infrastructure.

Simultaneously, the All-New Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) has officially entered the Philippine market. As the brand’s flagship electrified model, it features a 2.4-liter gasoline engine paired with electric motors, delivering a combined 306 horsepower. The vehicle offers a combined driving range of up to 1,000 kilometers and is compatible with the Philippines' existing AC Type-2 charging protocols.
