Mitsubishi L200 returns to the European market

Mitsubishi is reintroducing the L200 pickup truck to the European market after a five-year absence. The new generation, known as the Triton in other global markets, aims to compete with established models such as the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux.

In Europe, the lineup is limited to double-cab configurations. In Germany, the model will be available in Diamant and Diamant Top trims. In the United Kingdom, the offering includes the L200 Titan and the L200 Barbarian. The vehicle features a 2.4-liter biturbo diesel engine producing 204 hp and 470 Nm of torque.

Drivers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission with Easy Select 4WD or a six-speed automatic transmission paired with the Super Select 4WD-II system, which offers seven selectable driving modes. The truck has a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 75 liters.
