Mitsubishi Motors expands lineup with L200 commercial and Pajero models

Mitsubishi Motors is expanding its vehicle lineup with the introduction of a new commercial version of the L200 Series 7 pick-up truck and a new seven-seat Pajero model designed for off-road use.

The commercial L200 features a 2.4-litre bi-turbo engine producing 204ps and 470Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Designed for heavy-duty tasks, it offers a payload exceeding 1t and a towing capacity of 3.5t. The vehicle includes specialized interior features such as a steel bulkhead and a durable phenolic floor for industrial utility.

Additionally, Mitsubishi has launched a new Pajero, a seven-seater 4x4 aimed at competing in the off-road market. It utilizes a 2.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing approximately 480 Nm of torque, managed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Pajero is built on a ladder-frame chassis with a double wishbone front suspension and a solid beam axle rear, providing a ground clearance of 230mm for challenging terrain.
