Mitsubishi plans hybrid Triton updates and Ralliart Pajero version

Mitsubishi is planning significant updates for its vehicle lineup, focusing on the Pajero SUV and the Triton pickup truck. The upcoming mid-life refresh of the Triton, expected around 2028, will adopt design elements from the Pajero, including T-shaped LED headlights and an evolved Dynamic Shield grille. The Triton is also slated to receive hybrid engines, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and updated driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Simultaneously, Mitsubishi is considering a high-performance off-road version of the new Pajero under its Ralliart brand. This move aims to compete with models like the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Nissan's chassis-based offerings. To test its capabilities, the Pajero will participate in the Asia Cross Country Rally next year, serving as a development laboratory for potential production models focused on extreme terrain performance.
