Mizoram launches government recruitment for forensic science and medical officer posts

The Mizoram Public Service Commission announced 12 Junior Scientific Officer vacancies in the Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratory. Positions cover DNA analysis, fingerprinting, questioned documents, photography, and cyber forensics. Applicants must hold a relevant M.Sc. degree, meet an age limit of 18‑30 (with relaxations for SC/ST), and meet experience requirements. The posts are classified as Group B, Level‑7 pay scale.

The National Health Mission Mizoram issued a separate notice for eight contractual Medical Officer posts. Candidates must possess an MBBS degree, demonstrate working knowledge of the Mizo language up to middle‑school level, and apply by 10 August 2026. The monthly stipend is ₹50,000. Both recruitment drives are part of Mizoram's effort to staff its health and forensic services.
