M!LK member Shunta Sono fails weather forecaster exam

Shunta Sono, a member of the five-person dance and vocal group M!LK, announced on the Nippon TV program ‘ZIP!’ that he did not pass the weather forecaster examination.

Having previously passed the general knowledge portion of the exam in January, Sono sat for the specialized knowledge and practical skills components in August. While he successfully passed the specialized knowledge section, he failed the practical skills portion.

Sono expressed his disappointment regarding the result, stating, ‘It is frustrating. I feel I could have done more. I feel bad because I could not meet the expectations of my fellow members and fans.’ Despite the setback, he declared his intention to continue working hard toward his goal.
