Münster Announces International Artists for 2027 Skulptur Projekte
The decennial public‑art exhibition Skulptur Projekte Münster has confirmed its 2027 lineup. Artists include Hew Locke (UK/Guyana), Oscar Murillo (Colombia), Iza Tarasewicz (Poland), Selma Selman and Róza El‑Hassan. The show will run from 12 June to 3 October 2027 and will extend beyond the historic centre into transforming neighbourhoods, encompassing around 30 sites such as Kinderhaus, an old military barracks and a 19th‑century cemetery.
The curatorial team is the Zagreb collective What, How & for Whom (Ivet Ćurlin, Nataša Ilić, Sabina Sabolović). Mayor Tilman Fuchs said the edition will “engage in a particularly meaningful way with the diversity of our city” by making urban‑transformation processes visible. Funding comes from the state of North Rhine‑Westphalia, the German government and private patrons.
