The free trial period for the MOBI public transportation system in Cancún, specifically for Route 27 (Puente Nichupté and Kilómetro Cero), concludes on Monday, September 28. Formal fare collection will begin on Tuesday, September 29.
Standard urban route fares are set at $15 pesos, while routes serving the Hotel Zone will cost $18 pesos. Preferential rates of $10 pesos are available for students and senior citizens, and individuals with permanent disabilities are entitled to free travel upon presenting valid credentials.
Passengers can pay using several methods: the MOBI card (available for $35 pesos at retailers such as Oxxo, 7-Eleven, Dunosusa, and GoMart), the MOBI mobile app via QR code e-tickets, or contactless credit and debit cards. The service operates daily from 4:55 am to 2:00 am with 11-minute intervals.
