Mobile data costs rise for Slovak travelers in Turkey, Czech carriers roll out cheap unlimited plans

Slovak mobile operators warn that roaming data in Turkey can become very expensive without a dedicated package. Orange charges up to €10.17 per megabyte, meaning just 5 MB could cost more than €50, while other providers such as 4ka, O2, and Telekom offer regulated tariffs that limit charges but may still exceed the price of a prepaid data bundle.

In the Czech Republic, a provider promotes fully unlimited voice, SMS and data plans starting at 392 CZK per month when multiple SIM cards are bundled under one account. Prices decrease with each additional line, and the offers include no contract commitments, free number porting, and optional TV services.

Both articles highlight how consumers can avoid unexpected fees by selecting appropriate prepaid or bundled packages before traveling or switching providers.
