Modena health officials host mosquito‑prevention public meeting

The municipality of Modena continued its public awareness series “Zanzare, impariamo a difenderci” with a second meeting on 9 July 2024 at 20:30 in the Curie Hall (via Curie 22/B). Officials including health assessor Francesca Maletti, animal‑rights officers Daniela Barbieri and Carla Bezzi, and entomologist Rodolfo Veronesi explained how residents can limit mosquito breeding on private property and outlined the regional plan for arbovirus surveillance and control.

The programme will proceed with further sessions in other city districts on 15 July (Quartiere 3) and 16 July (Quartiere 1), with information available on the Modena municipal website.
