Modivo Group reports 204 million PLN net loss

Modivo Group reported a net loss of 204 million PLN for the second quarter of the 2026/27 fiscal year, a significant downturn from the 60 million PLN profit recorded during the same period the previous year. The loss was driven largely by asset impairment charges totaling 557.4 million PLN related to Worldbox and Modivo.com.

The impairment of 287.6 million PLN for Worldbox follows a strategic decision to slow the expansion of its physical stores and focus on the high-margin off-price segment. Additionally, the group recognized impairments for Modivo.com due to slower-than-expected financial improvements for the eobuwie and Modivo brands.

Despite the net loss, the group saw revenue growth. Sales increased by 13 percent year-on-year to 3.045 billion PLN. Performance varied across segments: the HalfPrice division saw significant growth in both revenue and EBITDA, while the CCC segment experienced a decline in profitability, moving from an EBITDA profit to an EBITDA loss.
