Mohammed V International Airport passenger traffic rises 9.7%
Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca recorded a 9.7% increase in passenger traffic through the end of July 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. According to data from the National Airports Office, the airport handled 6,953,695 passengers during the first seven months of the year, up from 6,338,610 in the previous year.
In July 2026 alone, the airport welcomed 1,197,152 passengers, representing a 7.67% increase over July 2025. International flights accounted for 1,084,506 passengers (a 7.45% rise), while domestic flights saw 112,646 passengers, an increase of 9.84%.
On a national level, Morocco's airports saw total commercial air traffic reach 22,282,997 passengers by the end of July 2026, an 8.77% increase compared to the same period last year. Total passenger numbers for the month of July reached 3,450,846, up 8.38% from the previous year.
