Mohan Yadav announces major road projects in Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has emphasized that roads serve as the foundation for regional development and prosperity. Speaking virtually during a ground-breaking ceremony in Kelod, Dewas district, the Chief Minister highlighted the commencement of the Rajoda-Kelod-Double Chowki road project.
The 32-kilometer road, constructed at an estimated cost of approximately 98 crore rupees, will connect Hat Pipliya to Dewas, Indore, and Betul by linking to the Indore-Betul National Highway. This infrastructure is expected to benefit roughly 70,000 residents across 25 villages and reduce the travel distance to the Dewas district headquarters by 40 to 45 kilometers.
Additionally, the Chief Minister announced the construction of the 12-kilometer Sukhliya-Tigariya route, costing 11.40 crore rupees, which will serve over 20,000 people in 20 villages. He also noted that the state government is providing free registration for 50 lakh rural records under the Swamitva scheme.
